Terms of Use

By proceeding, you hereby acknowledge and agree that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in yoga classes, workshops, events or trainings with the organisers. You understand that the practice of yoga involves physical exertion and I assume full responsibility for any and all injuries or damages, which may occur to me or my property during any events. You agree to inform the organiser of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy-related considerations, or mental health needs.

You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding your participation in of our activities. You represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation in any programs. 

You agree to comply with all terms and conditions of the organisers. You understand that we reserves the right to refuse your participation in any event if you violate any such terms and conditions.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in events with the organisers, you hereby release, waive, and discharge the organisers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you, or to any property belonging to you, while participating in any yoga classes, workshops, events or trainings.

Bookings and Payment

All bookings can be made online through the website https://www.themotherwithin.ie  Please note that due to limited numbers, a place is only guaranteed by receipt of full payment.  Bookings are on a first come, first served basis. All bookings for The Mother Within Events are considered final. Due to the nature of securing vendors and venues, we cannot offer refunds, credits, or transfers if you choose to cancel or are unable to attend for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to: illnesses, travel disruptions, personal emergencies, or changes in your schedule, unless agreed in writing by Anna or Jennifer. While we do not offer refunds, you may transfer your spot to another person, provided they are approved by the organisers and you notify us at least 3 days before the start date of the event.

Bookings can be paid securely online through our secure online booking system Squarespace Scheduling which is securely powered by Stripe, Paypal or Apple Pay.  The organisers are not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or credit card companies. All transactions will be processed in EURO (€). We cannot accept any other currency for payment.  No booking is final until full payment is received.  

Force Majeure

The organiser shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, any of its obligations where such failure or delay is due to events beyond reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).

A Force Majeure Event includes, but is not limited to:

• Acts of God (including extreme weather, flooding, or natural disaster)

• Fire, illness, epidemic or pandemic

• Government restrictions or public health guidelines

• Venue closure or unavailability

• Travel disruption or transportation issues

• Power outages or utility failures

Any other unforeseen or unavoidable event outside the organiser’s control

In the event of a Force Majeure Event:

• The organiser reserves the right to reschedule the retreat to a later date, or

• Offer a credit or transfer to a future retreat

Where rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund may be offered, excluding any non-recoverable costs already incurred.

The organiser will always aim to communicate clearly and act in good faith to find a fair and supportive solution for all participants.

Code of Conduct

This is a shared, supportive space. Respect for all participants is essential. Disruptive, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund. 

Data protection (GDPR)

Your personal data will be stored securely and used only for retreat administration and communication. Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time.
